Furthermore it will be taught how to manually produce matrices in SAS and a number of different matrix functions will be demonstrated. The course contains an introduction to importing external datasets into matrixes in SAS. The course is an introduction to Interactive Matrix Language (IML) in SAS, which has been adjusted to the course Applied Econometrics Methods. SAS Interactive Matrix Language for Applied Econometrics Methods It will be taught how to sort a dataset, work with data steps, if-then-else functions and different types of loops. Learn about the SAS 9.2 user interface, library references, production of simple and conditional output along with basic descriptive statistics. The course material contains an introduction along with examples of each subject and assignments with solutions.Īn introduction course to basic SAS procedures.
